About the stone:

Sonoran Mountain Turquoise is an often vibrant blue-green stone mined near Cananea, Sonora, Mexico. Unique for being found as individual nugget deposits in clay, rather than veins, it boasts a naturally glossy finish due to high silica content - sometimes, with sparkly pyrite inclusions peppered across its surface.

Crystal lore: 

Turquoise is an ancient, revered stone symbolizing sky, water, health, and protection across cultures. Historically prized by Native Americans, it was worn as a protective amulet, believed to guard against evil, bring good fortune, and strengthen warriors. It is often associated with calmness, wisdom, and friendship, and is widely considered a stone of communication, believed to enhance clarity, confidence, and honest self-expression through the throat chakra.
