Consider the mountain ash tree, with its firey orange leaves fluttering in the autumn breeze. The Mountain Ash cuff bracelet carries that essence with smoldering, rose-cut citrine, carefully set in sterling silver on a hand-stamped, heavy-gauge band.

Item details:

  • 925 sterling silver
  • 5.5" heavy-gauge cuff with a 1" opening, making it slightly adjustable
  • Stone measures roughly 12x8 mm

About the stone:

Citrine is a yellow to orange variety of quartz, with its coloring coming from iron impurities. Prized for its warm color and durability, most natural citrine is found in Brazil. It has been used in jewelry for thousands of years and was very popular in Roman times and the Victorian era in Scotland. Throughout history, it was used in ancient Greece and Rome for decorative carvings and talismans, and later became a favorite of royalty, like Queen Victoria.

Crystal lore:

Citrine has been referred to "the merchant's stone" for attracting wealth, and the "sun stone" for its believed ability to hold sunlight, offer protection, and bring joy. It is said that wearing citrine boosts confidence and happiness, wards off negative energy, and calms anger.
