About the stone:

Golden Hill Lavender turquoise is a rare, high-grade turquoise from the Altyn-Tyube mine in Kazakhstan. Mined primarily in the winter months due to harsh mining conditions, this material is best known for its distinct pastel lavender-blue coloring and chocolate-colored matrix. 

Verde Valley turquoise is a fresh find in Arizona, celebrated for its vibrant green coloring that differs from the typical blue Arizona turquoise. While blue turquoise contains more copper, the presence of iron and trace metals like zinc shifts the color to green, allowing for this glowing material to form. 

Crystal lore: 

Turquoise is an ancient, revered stone symbolizing sky, water, health, and protection across cultures. Historically prized by Native Americans, it was worn as a protective amulet, believed to guard against evil, bring good fortune, and strengthen warriors. It is often associated with calmness, wisdom, and friendship, and is widely considered a stone of communication, believed to enhance clarity, confidence, and honest self-expression through the throat chakra.
