About the stone:

Palomino variscite is a soft green-to-mint gemstone that often features warm, caramel-colored matrix. It was discovered as recently as 2024 and is primarily mined in Nevada. Often mistaken for turquoise, it is a separate, distinct hydrated aluminum phosphate mineral that has been identified as a type of petrified wood.

Crystal lore: 

Variscite is a rare, vibrant green, or blue-green phosphate mineral known in lore as a stone of encouragement and emotional healing. Many believe it brings inner peace and peace of mind, while fostering compassion and self-acceptance. It is often associated with the heart chakra and used to reduce anxiety.
